Hypnosis for Racing Thoughts, Lack of Focus and Other Modern Day Problems

If you have problems focusing, can you even focus on reading an article to help you?

A question I asked before taking the time to write this and thought, “No, they probably won’t, BUT what if one person does and it helps them?” So, here it is for you that single open-minded person that focused long enough to find a way to have a new experience.

I think you have to be extremely tired of the way things are to motivate yourself to make a change. What do those racing thoughts and lack of focus cheat you out of? What could your work life, personal life and relationship life be like with more present minded awareness? Is that motivating enough to create a change in yourself?

We know the brain is capable of making changes. So don’t worry about that ‘old dog’, just focus (if you can) on the ‘new tricks’ you want. New tricks like being interested and present when you are in a staff meeting, when your spouse or partner is talking about their day, when you are attempting to complete a project that is not your favorite thing to do. Imagine that! Being focused and present throughout your day.

What changes in your life when you are more focused, what is the benefit? As an older adult, (I could say middle aged, but that means I’ll live ‘til 110) it pains me to see people on their phones so much, especially parents when they are at the park with their kids. This is the new normal and I wonder what happens to the satisfaction from feeling connected to someone, to nature, to the moment? What are you missing out on? It is connection, community, creativity all of which are known to improve our quality of life and promote health and happiness.

Hypnosis Is A Solution for Lack of Focus

Taking a journey into the subconscious part of the brain puts you in control of unconscious / habitual behaviors and gives you the ability to change them, to literally change your mind. Hypnosis is how you take that journey.

The subconscious also controls all of your involuntary functions, hypnosis is the way to talk to those controls and bring your body back into balance as well.

What if you can get in on the current conversation playing in your brain that says, “look over there, what’s that, check this, do that, no that, no do that, look over there, wait what’s in there?” And then to change that conversation to “It’s time to sit and soak up this information at this meeting like a sponge, then file it away for easy recall,” or “now it is time to be fully present with my family or friends to look into their eyes and really see them,” or “now it is time to exercise and send thoughts to my body to burn fat with each step, to recognize, honor and appreciate what the body is going through during exercise time.”

Think of hypnosis as an altered state of rapid learning. Ready to learn but can’t get to a hypnotist right away?

Here is a Helpful Tip

Meditation For Everyday People

If you want to be happier and healthier use this meditation technique for everyday people.

“Everyday people” need to meditate too, perhaps more so than “experienced” meditators.

When I first learned to meditate I thought it was something that I could never achieve, so I avoided it, sound familiar?

I have found as you might forcing myself to meditate won’t work. And when it is a meditative state we are seeking, we certainly don’t need stress of forcing ourselves.

So here is way you can “meditate” wherever you are. It is called Awareness, and comes from Presence Centered Awareness, which is a part of a meditative practice. I just thought it would make more sense to take that awareness into my world rather than sitting on a cushion and “trying” to be aware of a world that was foreign to me (the world of silence).

It does require you to wake up. And come back to your breath, to notice the environment around you, the sounds, colors, aromas, and temperature. Find one of those that is fascinating to you and focus on it and breathe.

Expand this practice into all of your daily scenes. I wonder how easily you can find 2-3 minutes each hour to do this. Your body and mind will appreciate it and make some nice positive shifts and you find yourself happier and when you are happier you are healthier.

In the past it might have been a challenge to meditate, in the future it makes sense for you to give up the struggle.

How does hypnosis help you be happier? We increase Desire, strengthen your Belief, & create Future Imagery, which Builds new neural pathways. Then, a happy state becomes more known and comfortable and the new path.
