I’m Roger Simpson, the Seasoned Citizen Hypnotist at The Flow Center for Hypnosis in Dallas, Texas.
I sometimes catch myself saying or thinking, “Gee, I hope I don’t look as old as I am” or “I ‘m really younger than I look.” A lot of people around my age think about this….
You attract to your life what you think about. Law of life, honest. And that kind of thinking attracts old-aginess.
On the other hand, what’s wrong with being old? Gee, I’m old all the time! Heck, I hate being poked with needles, I like my skin just the way it is. And on and on…
But what old people don’t have, is a lot of time…or so they think.
Instead of thinking, “What have I done with my life?”, we should be thinking, “What do I want?”
You see, people my age tend to think, life is pretty much over;…time to take it easy. And, for a lot of people, if you asked them what they wanted..well…out of life, they long ago quit wishing for things, at all. Because, life has crushed their spirit. They see no future…in wishing for things they never get, never can get, and never will get…..and so,….they just kind of continue on, living through their children and grandchildren’s lives, kinda coasting into home plate, you know.
Well, if you want to find out what you want, you gotta start asking questions. To yourself. You got to use the Power of Q!, the power of questions. The first questions is: (tah-dahhhhh) What questions can I ask myself to find out, What Do I Want?
You see, if you can’t answer the question when you are totally conscious, then your subconscious mind will keep working on the answer until you get an answer…it might pop into your mind, unannounced, it might pop into your dreams, your UN-conscious.
So, here is your assignment. Ask yourself, fall asleep tonight asking yourself, “WHAT DO I WANT? If I had 3 wishes, what would they be?”
